- Monitor and assess performance of all Engineering disciplines across active projects
- Participate in scheduling of Engineering and Design activities
- Monitor team member performance
- Proactively identify issues and propose solutions
- Coordinate directly with the Design Manager to create standard plans, processes, and procedures for the Engineering staff to use and abide by
- Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and methods used by the engineering staff
- Conduct various quality assurance checks
- Conduct lessons learned to improve standards and procedures
- Monitor staffing to determine training needs
- Communicate and collaborates with other managers, suppliers, and contractors
- Assist in determining Scopes of Work and estimating hours to complete it
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 14 years minimum Engineering experience
- PE Licensed in Texas with ability to be licensed in other states as well (preferred)
- 5+ years of previous engineering experience in a fabrication facility, specifically skid-mounted equipment- Proficient in Compress
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting.
- Intuitive; able to identify client needs with minimal information.
