We are currently seeking aMechanical Design Engineer I to support the design, development, and documentation of new and existing products, components, and tooling. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for recent Mechanical Engineering graduates who are eager to gain practical experience, receive mentorship, and grow within a production-focused engineering team.
- Assist with 3D modeling and design of components, assemblies, and tooling based on engineering input
- Create detailed technical drawings to support manufacturing and inspection
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians during prototyping, testing, and assembly
- Support product improvement initiatives and process documentation
- Maintain and organize top-level assemblies and related documentation
- Participate in hands-on inspection and testing of prototype and pre-production parts
- Work under the guidance of senior engineers to meet project goals and deadlines
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or academic projects considered)
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and take initiative in a dynamic engineering environment
- Hands on mechanical experience
