- Assemble all basic expendable mechanical products
- Create sealing surfaces on spherical parts through lapping
- Inspect components for cosmetic defects, machining errors, damage, or other abnormalities
- Verify that all products are assembled using the correct components as specified in the Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and procedures
- Safely work with heavy equipment and lift up to 45 pounds
- Demonstrate the ability to learn on the job and apply new skills effectively
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the Drawworks area
- Maintain a basic understanding of Drawworks production processes and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures
- Operate machinery and use hand and power tools to assemble subcomponents
- Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic components as required
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by the Drawworks Supervisor
- Ability to read and write in English
- Minimum of two (2) years of previous warehouse or related experience
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Limited travel required (less than 5%)
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
- Exposure to loud noise while working in the warehouse
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts while on the shop floor
- Exposure to occasional hot and/or cold weather conditions, depending on outside climate and warehouse temperature, as the shop floor is not air-conditioned or heated
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Consistently wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while in the facility
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Works well independently and in team environments
- Able to read and understand all Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) in English
- Adheres to facility safety policies and attends all required monthly safety training
- Participates in all Human Resources–directed training through classroom sessions, iComply, or HUB Learning
- Operates both Jib and Overhead cranes safely and efficiently
- Able to safely lift up to 45 pounds
- Uses office equipment, including copiers, to scan and copy documentation
- Wears a fall protection harness when performing work at heights
- Proficient in company software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Writes, sends, and receives emails to communicate with internal customers and NOV employees
- May operate Class II and Class IV forklifts (Hyster 50–170, Order Picker, Manlift, and Reach Truck)
