- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics to ensure accurate builds
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to secure, assemble, and install parts, subassemblies, and finished assemblies
- Install and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies
- Conduct functional and continuity tests on completed assemblies to verify performance and quality
- Prioritize and organize tasks according to the production schedule
- Perform equipment system assembly, startup, and functional testing
- Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust systems as needed to ensure proper operation
- Carry out additional work-related tasks as assigned
- Maintain strict adherence to NOV Company policies and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 45 pounds
- Demonstrate the ability to learn on the job and apply new skills effectively
- Work with and around heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to support safety and productivity
- Perform additional work-related tasks as directed by the Manufacturing Supervisor
- Assemble and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic components as required
- Minimum of 3 years of assembly or mechanical experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Limited travel as needed
- Exposure to loud noise and moving parts/equipment while on the shop floor
- Work performed 100% in a warehouse/shop floor environment; no office/computer work
- Exposure to temperature variations (hot and/or cold) depending on climate and warehouse conditions
- Strong communication skills with coworkers and supervisors
- Consistent use of proper PPE on the shop floor
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Strict adherence to safety policies and participation in monthly safety training
- Attendance at all HR-directed training (classroom, Achieve, iComply CBT)
- May operate JIB and Overhead Cranes
- May operate Class II & IV Forklifts (Order Picker & Hyster 50–170)
- May work at heights; required to wear Fall Protection Harness when performing tasks above 4 feet
