Mechanical 3D R & D Designer – Contractor Position

Position: R & D 3D CAD Designer

We currently have an opportunity for Reach and Development 3D Cad designer - contractor position, paid by experience.

Responsibilities:

You will design the Electrical and Mechanical equipment including:

- 2D and 3D modeling design in AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or invertor is must

- Design, develop and manufacturing implementation of MCCB, Transformer, Kiosk.

- Design, develop and manufacturing implementation of CSA or UL accepted electrical enclosure, cabinet, other electrical equipment, and etc.

- Support manufacturing implementation of products through design for manufacturing and design for assembly

- Support senior engineer to design building power distribution and lighting system

- Ability to travel to manufacturer’s site for coordination and supervision

- Electrical and mechanical manufacturing background is preferred

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in AutoCad and 3D software – Fusion 360 or invertor

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing area

- Experience in electrical enclosure/cabinet design/service entry equipment is a plus

- Ability to design independently and coordinate with all respects.

- Good knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and UL standards

- Good knowledge of other industry and regulatory standards and design criteria is a plus.

- Proficiency in a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques.

- Strong technical and design skills.

- Ability to timely identify and resolve issues.

- Attention to details and accuracy.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
