Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within the shop, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who is eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Duties

•

Experience in diesel engines. Big and Small

•

Loader / Generators

•

Hydraulic knowlegde, diagnosis and hose crimping

•

Oil and fuel filter and hydraulic filter changes.

•

Support technicians and other staff in daily tasks, including preparing materials and tools for projects.

•

Operate basic shop equipment and tools, including the use of an Ohmmeter for electrical measurements.

•

Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and restocking as necessary.

•

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources.

•

Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety protocols while working in the shop.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

•

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

•

Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.

•

Willingness to learn new skills and take on various responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
