SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Mechanic, Industrial.

About Your New Role:

Reporting to either the Supervisor, Maintenance Operations, the Mechanic, Industrial, will install, maintain, dismantle, and overhaul machinery, such as heavy mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, pulleys, mechanical clutches, gear boxes, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems. Works from plans and blueprints, does installations, do overhauls and repairs which require the use of hand tools and power tools. The use of lathes, milling machines and grinders may be required to make customized parts or repairs.

Your Knowledge and Skills:* Repair and maintenance of milling equipment such as grinding mills, crushers, pumps, motors, conveyor belts, etc.

Your Education and Experience: The successful candidate will have:* Valid Saskatchewan or Inter-provincial Millwright trade certification.

About Our Working Conditions:

This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
