Material Handler Forklift Operator - Bensalem, PA

Description:

Hadco Metal Trading CO., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes various CNC machines, waterjets, band saws, plate saws, and shears.

Currently we are looking for an experienced Material Handler with solid math and measuring skills as well as basic data entry skills. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Work Schedule may include one weekend day.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Safely operate forklift and/or overhead crane to move and deliver material to designated areas.

- Accurately enter work order information into ERP computer system.

- Verify alloy, weight, and count to ensure material pulled matches work order specifications using micrometer/caliper.

- Solve mathematical calculations required on orders.

- Package completed orders.

- Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

- Math and measuring skills including fractions and decimals.

- Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

- Forklift experience moving large and heavy material.

- Ability to accurately enter work orders into the company ERP system.

- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, English preferred.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

- Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.

- Ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach, and stoop.

- Minimum 18 years of age.
