Material Expeditor

Position Purpose

Material Expeditor is responsible for tracking and expediting material from suppliers in accordance with the purchase order requirements.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

- Follow-up and manage supplier acknowledgments for the POs issued to vendors

- Update acknowledgement notes in company ERP system

- Follow-up & manage supplier material delivery dates and update ERP system with any changes

- Schedule meetings with Supplier, Buyer and Project Manager if there is any slippage in dates

- Coordinate with Project Managers and Production Teams for any material related issues

- Support and assist Purchasing department with issuance of Pos

- Attend Production meetings with material updates

Qualifications

- High School Graduate

- 1–2 years experience in a manufacturing or purchasing or warehouse environment preferred

- Working knowledge of computers (Microsoft)

- Knowledge of ERP system (any) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
