Marketing Associate

Overview:

The Marketing team at Current Connected plays a crucial role in generating awareness,

educating our audience, and driving high-quality leads for our Sales Team. We are seeking a

dynamic Marketing Associate to contribute to our content development, brand awareness,

conversion retention, and overall marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a motivated individual

who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys writing and creating compelling content, and is

eager to support a growing marketing team. This is an hourly, on-site position.

Job Responsibilities Include:

● Develop high-quality, thought-provoking content across various formats, including

articles, social media materials, presentations, product descriptions, and more.

● Craft engaging email campaign assets for WordPress and Mail Poet, including weekly

newsletters, announcements, and product release highlights.

● Conduct interviews for content, such as employee spotlights and industry insights.

● Research industry trends to support thought leadership content, social media posts, and

website copy.

● Manage product data and digital assets in our Product Information Management system

(Netsuite).

● Monitor content for consistency and take corrective action for our website.

● Optimize product content for search rankings and conversion rate.

● Manage metadata and surrounding information on product peripherals.

● Work with the marketing team to upload and publish content supporting initiatives and

consumer trends.

● Work in a cross-functional team environment, able to balance multiple and/or shifting

priorities, commercial channels, and flex to provide support as called upon.

Skills & Qualifications:

● Systems thinker with a strong understanding of relational databases.

● Experience with Google Analytics, Netsuite, and WooCommerce platforms.

● Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

● Demonstrate clear communication skills, consistent attention to detail, and proactive

ownership across all assigned work.

● Ability to create descriptive writing without the use of generative AI technologies.

● Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information

into impactful messaging.

● Collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally but can also work

independently.

● Highly organized self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project

execution.

● Excellent time management skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting

deadlines across different teams

● A solutions-oriented mindset with a curiosity to explore new ideas and strategies to

enhance marketing initiatives.

Education & Experience:

● 1+ years of experience in technical writing, marketing, or a related field.

● 1+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus.

● Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and content management

systems is also preferred.

Physical Demands:

● This position mainly works in an office environment and requires long periods of sitting

and working on a computer.

● The ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds is required.

● This position is not remote and requires you to be physically present in the office.

Compensation:

The typical hiring range for this role is $22 per hour to $27 per hour and is based on several

factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In

addition to your pay, Current Connected offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and

recognition programs, and retirement contributions (all benefits and incentives are subject to

eligibility requirements).
