Job Summary:

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our internal marketing team in a fast-paced B2B manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, on-site position at 3701 Holmes Road, Houston, TX 77051. Candidates should ensure they are within a commutable distance to our facility before applying. This role is essential in managing administrative marketing tasks, coordinating print collateral, photography and assisting with various marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn the internal operations of an in-house marketing team. Strong project management skills, adherence to deadlines, and effective communication are critical to success in this role. The Marketing Assistant will help optimize marketing initiatives and contribute to the department's overall efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

Collateral Management: Print, organize, and maintain sales and marketing collateral for direct mail campaigns, sales packets, historical documentation, and other materials.
Marketing Coordination: Assist in the execution and organization of marketing campaigns, continuing education certifications, and various marketing activities.
Content Support: Assist with social media posts, content management, newsletters, flyers, e-blasts, presentations, and other marketing initiatives.
Product Photography: Capture and catalog product images from the production floor, ensuring proper categorization and tagging for accessibility.
Project Management: Help organize and track marketing tasks in Asana to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule.
Vendor & Event Coordination: As needed, support scheduling, vendor communication, and approval processes for marketing initiatives, events, and promotional activities.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as a liaison between marketing and other departments, gathering information and coordinating requests to support marketing efforts.
Metrics & Reporting: Assist in monitoring campaign performance, gathering data, and providing reports to measure marketing effectiveness.
Ad-Hoc Marketing Support: As needed, provide assistance with signage, event coordination, social media content, photography, and other marketing-related tasks.
General Administrative Support: Assist in maintaining marketing records, organizing digital assets, and handling miscellaneous administrative tasks.


Requirements Qualifications:

1+ years of marketing experience in a B2B, manufacturing, or related industry.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
Experience with Canva (preferred).
Preferred familiarity with marketing tools such as email marketing platforms, webinar software (GoToMeeting preferred), and content management systems (HubSpot preferred).
Detail-oriented and proactive, willing to learn and adapt to new marketing strategies and technologies.
