Under the direction of the Marketing and Business Development staff, the Marketing Research Intern will:
- Conduct competitor and industry analyses to identify market positioning and emerging trends.
- Perform segmentation analysis of the current customer base to support targeted marketing and product strategies.
- Research and quantify the total addressable market (TAM) for Waupaca Foundry’s existing product lines and potential new product opportunities.
- Compile and interpret market and customer data to identify areas for growth and diversification.
- Prepare detailed reports and visual presentations summarizing key insights and recommendations.
- Present findings and recommendations to members of the leadership team, offering valuable exposure to senior-level decision-makers.
- Assist with additional marketing or administrative projects as assigned.
- Must be enrolled in post-secondary education for the Fall 2026 semester.
- Minimum of one completed year in a related field (preferred).
- Must be considered a full-time student (minimum of 12 credits).
- 18 years or older.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
