- Supervise shift while producing fiberglass products as scheduled.
- Attain production goals as specified by Plant Manager.
- Motivate employees to give maximum efforts in professional manner.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed.
- Maintain weekly employee attendance records.
- Maintain accurate production data.
- Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Comply with all NOV Company and Quality, Health Safety Environmental polices & procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
- College Degree Preferred or High School diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years’ experience as Supervisor.
- Must be capable of leading a diverse team.
- Willing & Able to work overtime as required.
- Experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Ability to plan and work with computer-controlled equipment.
- Understand complex manufacturing specifications.
- Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required.
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
- Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
- Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, & Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily.
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily.
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
