A Snapshot of Your Day

Perform blend repair, recontouring, deburring, removal of residual coating and disassembly of turbine components. Perform blending and material removal with minimal direction according to manufacturing and customer requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Read and comprehend traveler, documents, key cards and other specifications to capture work instructions.

- Use and maintain blending tools and equipment, including large belt sander and die grinders.

- Recognize and replace spent consumable materials such as sanding belts and burrs.

- Route and blend turbine components conserving the original contour.

- Grit and visually inspect parts.

What You Bring

- Ability to read, write simple forms and understand simple written instructions.

- Experience in a machine shop or repair shop.

- Can operate material handling equipment, including cranes.

- Digital literacy a plus.
