CM&W is looking for a 2nd Shift Manufacturing/Production Supervisor at our Hannibal, MO location. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production in assigned work areas. The supervisor plans, organizes, recommends improvements, problem-solves floor concerns, and provides training where needed to ensure the product is manufactured successfully in accordance to all company and customer specifications. The supervisor provides guidance to team leads and work teams in various areas of the shift. Starting pay is $26.50 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential.
- Oversee approximately 20-25 employees per shift.
- Ensure compliance with company and safety policies and procedures.
- Oversee product workflow within assigned areas.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and resources are available to assist employees with their daily tasks.
- Recommend operational or process changes where needed for product or process workflow improvements.
- Assess risks on the production floor and communicate with appropriate departments.
- Resolve production problems, utilizing all available resources.
- Give and receive employee feedback on the floor through open communication.
- Conduct team facilitation, ensuring team understands the production goals for their shift.
- Train and mentor employees, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to perform their required tasks.
- Communicate with Team Leads and employees on daily requirements and job assignments.
- Update Production/Operations/Area Manager on floor activity and seek guidance where necessary.
- Lock up and secure buildings at end of shift.- 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to supervise and mentor approximately 20-25 employees per shift.
- Ability to perform hands-on work while providing guidance for production team.
- Advanced knowledge in the areas of production and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong computer skills and understanding of Manufacturing Operating Systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication ability. Ability to understand and communicate written policies and procedures affecting the production floor.
- Strong ethical conduct.
- Results-driven, safety-conscious attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree or certifications in a relevant field preferred.
