Role Description

This is a full-time on-site/travel role for a Manufacturing Operations Manager at Filter King, located in Miami, FL. The Shipping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving processes, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with logistics partners, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping operations across multiple facilities.

- Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

- Partner with logistics, IT, procurement, and customer service teams to improve cross-department efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.

- Manage and develop teams of 20–75+ employees across production and logistics.

- Monitor KPIs such as output, cost per unit, error rate, and on-time delivery.

- Support company expansion by aligning Miami, Las Vegas, and Pennsylvania operations under one cohesive strategy.

- Travel regularly to Las Vegas and Bethlehem, PA to oversee facility performance and leadership teams.

Qualifications

Core Experience & Skills

- High-volume shipping/fulfillment experience (2,000+ packages/day, ideally in e-commerce or manufacturing).

- Carrier management (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, LTL freight).

- Knowledge of WMS/ERP systems (NetSuite, ShipStation, Fishbowl, SAP, or similar).

- Process optimization (experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methods or similar).

- Inventory control & cycle counting experience.

- Staff supervision (managing 10–50+ warehouse associates, shift leaders, or pick/pack staff).

- Bilingual (English/Spanish required in Miami operations).

- Must work on-site at the Miami, FL warehouse location.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Experience in a logistics or warehousing environment

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
