About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Manufacturing Engineerwith
7–10 years of manufacturing engineering experienceto help scale our production capabilities and drive operational excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes that support Utility Global’s advanced clean energy systems. You will play a critical part in ensuring world-class manufacturing performance, reducing cost, and enabling the rapid deployment of our technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and scalability in clean-tech production environments.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues, ensuring robust corrective actions.
- Partner with R&D, product design, and quality teams to transition new technologies from pilot-scale to full-scale manufacturing.
- Specify, validate, and implement new equipment, tooling, and automation solutions that reduce cost and increase throughput.
- Develop and maintain process documentation (PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, process flows).
- Contribute to facility layout planning, capacity scaling, and new product introductions.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
- Research, identify, and specify needed capital equipment to match forecast demands.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in energy, chemical, or advanced manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of process design, automation, and equipment integration.
- Proficiency with CAD and manufacturing analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience scaling manufacturing from start-up, prototype/pilot to high-volume production.
- Familiarity with hydrogen, fuel cell, chemical processing, or energy-related systems.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven manufacturing.
