Position Summary
Key member of the INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines BU team and broader INNIO Transformation Office. Reporting to the Vice President of Transformation, the
Manager, Business Transformationwill help shape strategy, influence direction, guide performance and improve chances of a successful transformation across the Waukesha Engines Business Unit. The Analyst will partner with BU leaders to develop/refine and execute the Value Creation Plan, including strategic, commercial, operational, organization and financial initiatives. The Analyst will work closely with business leaders AND shareholders to create transparency and visibility by tracking progress and enabling better and faster decision making, and results predictability.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic, commercial, operational, organizational and financial initiatives.
- Support strategic planning; synthesize input and recommend BU strategy, aligned with corporate strategy; support development and alignment of functional strategies, goals and objectives.
- Maintain and update the strategic plan; incorporate new market and organizational insights.
- Prepare updates and insights for monthly meetings and reports, board meetings or other as required.
- Support design and drive completion of critical initiatives in alignment with the business strategy/plan; provide analytical/problem solving support and guidance to the wider. organization and transformation team, including project leadership and management; ensure things get done.
- Partner with Finance to ensure all critical financial plan parameters are transparent.
- Work closely with leaders and shareholders; create transparency and visibility by tracking processes and data; enable better and faster decision making, and results predictability.
- Act as the face of transformation, set the tone, spur enthusiasm; challenge current wisdom and support the team; help leaders accelerate execution; provide structure and consistency to internal discussions.
- Orchestrate complex processes that involve a large number of discrete tasks; coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Validate all efforts/initiatives with facts, data and independent analysis; provide valued processes and tools.
- Act as a role model – encourage and imbed behaviors required for change.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related; Master's or MBA degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in global, manufacturing, distribution and/or service business; industry experience preferred.- Strong business and financial acumen; ability to produce clear analysis, documents, presentations, and plans.
- Track record building relationships with and receiving support from management; ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience navigating in challenging/turbulent times; ability to manage ambiguity; org savvy; ability to work across a diverse and complex global company.
- Ability to influence important internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic planning process management/facilitation experience.
- Ability to engage people around data and in how to develop it.
- High emotional intelligence; strong interpersonal skills.
