The Manager, Business Manager will own the financial analysis and management of regulated utility activities across NextEra Energy Transmission to support month end close, forecast / budget, regulatory compliance, operational cost effectiveness, project execution, ratemaking and project debt needs.

∙ Knowledge of basic accounting principles

∙ Ability to read and analyze financial statements

∙ Financial planning and analysis experience

∙ Prior regulated utility

∙ Experience in SAP reporting tools (BPC/BOBJ)

∙ Experience with Utilities International (UI)

∙ Advanced Excel skills

Leaders in this position support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets that have achieved commercial operation. This role supports strategic decision-making with respect to such assets, including hedging, operations and maintenance. This role identifies opportunities and analyzes the impact on company financials to maximize P and L profitability.
