The Maintenance Utility/Cleanup Person is an entry level position in the Maintenance Department. The scope of work performed will be moderately skilled work supporting day-to-day routine maintenance activities. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays, extended hours if need be.
- Perform moderate skill level work using hand/power tools.
- Perform Pressure Washing Tanks, Vessels & Exchangers
- Product Loading Vessels
- Road work, pavements, berms, concrete slabs
- Operate Light Equipment ie; forklift, manlift, flatbed truck and fuel truck
- Spill Containment
- Will be expected to flex amongst other craft
- Minimum high school diploma required or GED equivalent
- The Maintenance Utility/Cleanup Person will perform these functions in various environmental conditions in the refinery including, but not limited to: indoors, such as shops, warehouses, and other indoor locations; outdoors, such as open areas, covered areas, process units, and other outdoor locations; heights, such as columns, tanks, pipe racks, and other areas; underground, such as vaults, pits, and inside of process equipment and other confined spaces. The position may be exposed to other environmental requirements as well, such as heat, cold, wind, rain, and other naturally occurring elements
- Standing, walking lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds. Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, dragging, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, use of hands and feet.
- Properly uses and handles safety materials and equipment such as personal protective equipment, respirators, and air supplied breathing apparatus.
- Safety-sensitive work environment that requires compliance with continuous random drug and alcohol testing program.
