Maintenance Helper

Job Summary

The Maintenance Helper plays a crucial role in supporting the maintenance team by assisting with various tasks related to the upkeep and repair of facilities and equipment. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Assist in the maintenance and repair of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities

- Conduct residential painting and minor repairs as needed.

- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

- Support the maintenance team in various projects, including welding tasks when required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.

- Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and with customers.

- A commitment to safety practices and procedures in all maintenance tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
