Crow Precision Components, LLC (Crow) is a forge manufacturing company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Crow is a division of WHI Global, LLC, (www.whiglobal.com). Crow’s 98,000 square foot manufacturing facility operates 2 shifts; and its capacity includes 6 hammers, 12 hydraulic presses, and a screw press. Crow is NADCAP certified to perform Heat Treat and Non-Destructive Testing. Crow is ISO 9001 and AS 9100D certified.
The Maintenance Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the work of employees who repair and maintain Crow’s; 1) machinery and equipment, and 2) facilities (buildings and grounds). The Maintenance Department consists of six to ten employees operating across three shifts.
Machinery and equipment maintenance involves preventive maintenance, unplanned repairs, and coordination with outside vendors to complete more complex repairs. Facility maintenance will involve, but not be limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and groundskeeping. The Maintenance Department is responsible for safety and hazmat regulatory compliance.
Supervise all maintenance and repairs, as well as installation of equipment.
Coordinate with Operations Manager and Supervisors to prioritize unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
Arrange for and manage appropriate third-party contractor support.
Complete purchase orders to purchase parts & supplies, or to engage third-party contractor support.
Ensure Maintenance employees are cross trained on all Maintenance Department responsibilities.
Enforce Crow’s policies & procedures and other best practices for safety and housekeeping.
Enforce hazmat and environmental protocols and regulatory compliance.
Prepare work schedules, assign work, and oversee the work product.
Ability to communicate in English is required, and the ability to communicate in Spanish is desired.
High school diploma or GED certificate is required; trade school certifications are desired.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics is required.
2 years of experience in heavy industrial maintenance of machinery, buildings, and grounds is required.
Experience maintaining electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery is required.
Experience working on forging equipment (furnaces, hydraulic presses, and hammers) desired.
Experience with MRP / ERP systems is desired, specifically maintenance and purchasing modules.
Experience with Microsoft applications Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
Ability to read and comprehend a variety of instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Working with management and vendors will be required.
Self-motivated and ability to work well with others.
Available to work weekends and overtime as may be required .
