Maintenance Millwright

Duties and responsibilities

· Perform mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics.

· Perform preventative maintenance as required by supervisor and / or the plant preventative maintenance system.

· Understanding of electrical components.

· Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and motors.

· Identify root cause of equipment failures and follow-up on feasibility of modifications

· Analyze, record and maintain documentation for maintenance records

· Maintain a clean and environmentally safe workshop

Job requirements

· Minimum of 2-5 years of mechanical experience

· Experience in a manufacturing facility is an asset

· Able to work independently without supervision

· Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

· Intermediate computer skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft office and preventative maintenance programs is required.
