- Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the job.
- Use and inspect the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Meet company quality standards for welding and fabrication as directed by supervision.
- Operate roll-forming machines to manufacture parts and components according to specifications.
- Set up machines, load material, and monitor the production process.
- Read basic blueprints and sketches to fabricate metal components.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and ensure proper product alignment.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the roll-forming equipment.
- Assist with machine setup and the stacking, marking, packing, and transport of finished workpieces.
- Support the installation, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical equipment, HVAC, and ventilation systems.
- Operate air tools, power tools, and equipment according to safety policies.
- Move materials between machinery, baskets, racks, and pallets.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean as needed.
- Report safety concerns, near misses, property damage, and injuries immediately.
- Adhere to all company safety rules, training, the NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and all other
- quality-safety codes.
- Work 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed. Job Specifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working at a metal fabrication facility performing installation, repair, and maintenance of all systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and Mechanical.
- Must be able to read/interpret product manuals, schematics, prints, drawings, etc.
- Must have hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Ability to establish and maintain courtesy, dignity, trust, and respect with supervisors and coworkers.
- Effective communication in person, by telephone, and via two-way radio.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with safe work practices and safety procedures.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and be able to work day, evening, or night shifts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical examination.
- Must be able to lift to 75 pounds and stand, reach, and bend throughout an 8–10 hour shift.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
