The Maintenance Manager, Operations Services is a critical role for the long term development of the USAC standardized fleet maintenance program. In so doing, the Maintenance Manager will verify current and future standardized maintenance practices and implementation for the USAC fleet. We are seeking a committed team player who is detail-oriented and efficient, innovative, professional and personable. The successful candidate will have the ability and desire to fully utilize the technological resources provided, in order to perform all tasks effectively.
- Participate in safety training programs and contribute to continuous improvement of safety guidelines.
- Assists in the analysis of information for verification of fleet maintenance practices and timing/reliability.
- Assists in the data analysis and trending of information gathered from regional operations reporting.
- Will spend up to 30% of the time in the field performing maintenance services as outlined in the company’s Maintenance Manual
- Track maintenance statistics and prepare reports for dissemination across the company.
- On an annual basis, responsible for updating the Operations and Maintenance Manual.
- Participate in a standardized Root Cause Failure Analysis process.
- Serve as a key member of the Maintenance Advisory Committee.
- Work closely with regional maintenance managers to:
- Track major services;
- Understand and communicate the trends of the major services; and
- Resource or identify necessary changes to the resources required for major services.
- Coordinate analysis of used parts and makes recommendations on changes to improve reliability.
- Track manufacturer updates to packages and disseminate across the company.
- Assists with managing the process audits (mobilization/demobilization/idle, etc.).
- Assist with the planning of annual maintenance.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

- Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years of relevant work experience.

- The employee spends the majority of time sitting or standing in a comfortable position with ample opportunity to move about.
- The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- The position requires ability to read and interpret data as well as having the capacity to professionally and effectively communicate (verbally and written) with both company and outside personnel.
- Travel is required and is expected to be approximately 15-20% of the time worked.
- Employee will be a member of a team that is geographically dispersed.
- Working conditions in natural gas compression vary from one job site to another. Some job sites are indoors in compressor stations while other sites are outside, exposed to a variety of weather conditions. The work environment may be in hazardous locations. There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery.
