MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Sun Energy Services LLC d/b/a Deep Well Services’ Kilgore, TX, office seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee the organization and quality of the general maintenance of the operational fleet and equipment, ensuring company practices and procedures are followed. Will also: (i) delegate tasks to the mechanic, electrician and welding teams; (ii) work with inventory on proper spare component stocking and utilization; (iii) troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery and equipment in the shop or on field location; (iv) assist in asset labeling and inventory controls; (v) communicate with field staff to plan efficient and proper repairs; (vi) mentor all staff and encourage career growth; (vii) communicate with operations/safety team and determine priority of equipment repairs; (viii) ensure facility operates within company policy standards; (ix) ensure all shop related equipment, preventive maintenance and certifications are upheld; (x) enforce and provide safe work practices and PPE requirements for shop employees; (xi) develop preventative maintenance programs; (xii) ensure work orders are completed by all maintenance staff members with required information; (xiii) create contingency plans for unexpected equipment failure; (xiv) create department annual goals and work with staff to achieve them; and (xv) work with operations/safety team on equipment alterations and improvement concepts.

Must have five (5) years of maintenance/service management/supervision and inventory control experience in the oil and gas industry.

Must have five (5) years of experience with the following: (i) overseeing workover equipment operations and maintenance within the oil and gas industry; (ii) managing and supervising respective crews in the terms of process and safety operations; (iii) assisting with the rework and re-design of Hydraulic Completion Units; (iv) commissioning specialized equipment; and (v) operations in supervisory snubbing maintenance personnel and equipment selection pertaining to oil and gas operations.

Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Experience can be concurrent.

Must be able to travel to various customer worksites primarily in the Permian (70%), Eagle Ford (10%), and Bakken (10%) basins as well as 10% of travel to the Marcellus/Utica oil and gas basin.
