GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership to the Maintenance Department. This includes ensuring that all equipment is in peak operating condition and participating as an active member of our Production Managerial Team. The Maintenance Manager is responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the proper and safe functioning of all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment used in metal fabrication such as furnaces and casters, rolling mills and extrusion, blanking and coining presses.

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years maintenance work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend or kneel. The employee is continuously required to use hands and arms to reach, finger, handle, or feel objects and controls. The employee is regularly required to walk, talk and hear.
The employee must regularly lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

As a Maintenance Manager an employee will work in a cool to extremely hot environment, dependent upon project, outdoor work may be performed. There is exposure to fuels, oils, cleaning solvents and fumes from machinery. Safety glasses must be worn at all times while in the Maintenance area and while working on machinery. The noise level in the work environment varies depending upon project, hearing protection is required. Additional safety equipment may be required.
