SUMMARY: We are looking for a Maintenance Manager Assistant to complete accurate and thorough entries into our Maintenance program to keep accurate inventory counts and maintain work-orders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist in updating, maintaining, and closing work orders.
•Ensure accurate logging of maintenance activities in maintenance software.
•Track inventory levels of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
•Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
•Tag and label inventory to ensure proper organization and easy retrieval.
•Assist in sourcing, ordering, and receiving parts and supplies needed for maintenance operations.
•Work with vendors to obtain quotes and ensure timely deliveries.
•Maintain records of purchase orders and receipts.
•Help coordinate preventative maintenance schedules based on equipment usage and historical data.
•Serve as liaison between maintenance team and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
•Communicate updates on work orders, part availability, and repair timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance support role preferred – ideally in a manufacturing or manufacturing environment.
•Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, parts, and equipment, including ability to identify and differentiate between commonly used items.
•Experience with inventory tracking and parts ordering through purchase orders or supply systems.
•Strong communication skills; familiarity with vendor coordination is a plus.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting work orders, tracking inventory, and maintaining records.
•Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email; ability to learn internal systems quickly.
•Physically able to navigate a manufacturing floor, check inventory and assist with basic parts handling as needed.
•Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to retail locations or offsite vendors as needed to pick up or deliver parts.
