What you can expect in a typical day
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with our operations and technical teams to ensure process units within our plant are working safely, reliably, and to maximum productivity. Your goal will be to support maintenance, asset integrity, operations, and other teams to resolve issues including both repairs and new installations.

Your Responsibilities:
•Provide technical direction and solutions to problems including detailed repair plans
•Develop Engineering Work Orders and MOC’s
•Work with cross-functional teams to provide input for risk assessment for design and execution
•Participate in and support various types of investigation including RCA (root cause analysis)
•Provide technical expertise for both maintenance and capital projects
•Provide technical support for annual Turnarounds
•Ensure all assets are maintained according to all applicable codes and standards
•Plan and prioritize to make timely decisions on projects; manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
•Participate in the Refinery On-Call rotation
•Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Your Experience:
•University degree in Mechanical Engineering
•Experience with ASME and/or API codes is an asset
•Experience working on-site in refining operations is an asset
•P.Eng. certification is an asset, but not required
•2-3 years industrial experience
