- Compensation: $45-49/hour
- Location: Mont Belvieu, TX
- Work Schedule: 4/10 - in office
- Assignment Duration: 6 months+- Benefits: Comprehensive insurance including 401K, PTO and holidays
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is preferred
- A minimum of 1-3 years financial analysis experience is required
- Experience at an intermediate level in the following Microsoft Office Suite Required
- Oracle Financial and work order experience is a plus
- Midstream energy business (gathering and processing, pipeline, fractionation or storage) or related field is preferred
- Ability to interpret, organize, chart, graph and present large amounts of data into useful management information
- This role requires one to effectively adapt to change and be open to new ideas while driving for consistency
- The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who owns their individual work responsibilities yet is able and expected to function well in a team environment where collaboration is key
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Use Oracle E-Business Suite to: Create project codes
- View/manage cost data
- View/manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- View/manage vendor invoices
- Develop maintenance budgets
- Review and validate contractor quotes. Daily contractor/vendor cost tracking
- Working closely with routine and non-routine maintenance personnel outside of cost control group
- Develop end of month cost reports and forecasts
- Calculate cost allocations
- Develop and maintain cost reporting and/or cost tracking templates
- Prepare management cost reports
- Onboard vendors and contractors to meet Client reporting requirements
- Invoice reconciliation, verification, and processing
- Coordinate month-end close activities with Client site accounting
- Review spend data to identify trends. Provide spend analysis to affect maintenance, operational, and reliability business decisions
- Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace
- Monitor Client's maintenance cost control practices and suggest improvements when applicable
- Assist other maintenance and/or projects control groups as assigned
