The Maintenance Coordinator/ Contributor member has responsibility for setting-up, adjusting, and maintaining assigned equipment. They hold responsibility for developing, maintaining and improving their work system which enables the successful achievement of safety, quality, cost, and delivery. This individual is also responsible for coordinating machine maintenance. They handle equipment tracking and coordination of machine maintenance by maintaining the computerized maintenance management system software. Responsibilities

- Maintains records of maintenance department activities as required

- Provides management of computerized maintenance management system including implementing new equipment and scheduling of required machine maintenance either through routine preventative or work order

- Responsible for managing departmental metrics

- Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment. Problem-solve and take corrective action

- Open to mentoring and teaching team members on proper operation of equipment.

- Interact with operators for input on machine operation.

- Responsible for performing preventative maintenance per agreed upon schedule

- Responsible for reporting any machinery malfunctions or unsafe conditions to an area leader or support personnel immediately

- Creates / revises machine energy source evaluation sheets & Machine safety sheets

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to teach and influence others to follow the established standards

- Basic Math skills

- Strong organizational skill

- Attention to detail

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

- Strong mechanical aptitude

EDUCATION + KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred

- Familiarity with tools, machines and equipment

- Advanced understanding of computerized maintenance management system software preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- 2-5 years of experience in a maintenance or similar role

- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
