Job Summary

Power Generation Engineering seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate ongoing maintenance of industrial control system cyber security requirements across the Power Generation fleet of solar and battery energy storage facilities. This role will occasionally support the fleet of coal, oil, biomass, hydro, pumped storage, natural gas (simple and combined cycle) power generation facilities. This stimulating position will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and contractor activities across the power generation fleet of renewable sites to provide reliable energy for our customers.

The role may have Non-Dominion Energy Workers (NDEWs) report to them.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

- Experience with coordinating, planning, scheduling, and overseeing maintenance activities performed by various contractors, vendors, and technical resources.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Collaborates with stakeholders including management, engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and other team members effectively to plan and schedule maintenance work.

- Demonstrates good analytical and troubleshooting skills required to evaluate resource needs and manage ongoing maintenance activities and work schedules. In addition, identifies schedule impacts, resolve schedule conflicts, develop task lists, and ensure tasks are completed in compliance with cyber security requirements.

- Strong organizational skills, with proven ability to plan, determine work priorities and schedule both planned and emergent work.

- Skilled in the use of a personal computer to include the use of the Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Skilled in identifying discrepancies and/or resolving schedule conflicts. Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies to prevent delays to schedule.

- Develops scopes of work, submits purchase requisitions, and tracks purchase orders issued to contractors and vendors.

- Leads assigned engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and other team members effectively to complete maintenance tasks focusing on safety, performance of work, and schedule milestones.

- Ability to manage multiple activities and teams, prioritizes work and exercises discretion in performance of duties and responsibilities.

- Ability to work with a variety of individuals to communicate and assess technical requirements or work priorities.

- Previous work experience using SAP for tracking purchase requisitions and purchase orders; approving invoices, tracking costs, and submitting key card requests.

- Reviews contractor and vendor invoices for performance of work and codes them with appropriate charge codes.

- Skilled in cost tracking (actuals vs. forecasts), entering month end accruals, and providing accurate reports on a periodic basis.

- Monitors performance of maintenance activities and provides status reports to stakeholders.

- Demonstrates leadership ability to lead contractors, fills in for supervisors, and conducts safety orientations for contractors, vendors, and other team members.

- Plans daily and outage activities of maintenance and contractor crews by effectively using resources to ensure optimum availability, productivity, and safe performance.

- Assigns priorities to work and develops work schedules in coordination with engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and other team members.

- Ensures work is complete and in compliance with cyber security standards requirements.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Associate
