The Machinist Supervisor leads one or more CNC production cells, ensuring efficient scheduling, safety compliance, and team performance. This role involves hands-on setup and qualification of 5 Axis CNC machines, troubleshooting non-conformances, and maintaining part conformance standards. The supervisor trains operators, manages consumables, and supports a clean, organized 5S environment. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems are essential.
- Review and maintain team members’ work performance
- Schedule production and day-to-day tasks for team members.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The following duties will be carried out by you or team members under your direction.
- Prepare machines for production: Set up/ Qualify/ and ensure part conformance on various 5 Axis CNC machines.
- Preview and understand machine programs, written set-up information, and proper function and operation of machine being set-up.
- Trouble shoot non-conformances derived from programming errors, tooling or part misloading, dull cutters, coolant flow, and operator errors.
- Must be able to train operators
- Meet Quality standards
- Communicate discrepancies and non-conformances immediately to management.
- Utilize measuring equipment in support of quality requirements
- Record and input in-process measurement data utilizing an ERP system or similar method.
- Maintain machine and operator conformance of production parts.
- Coexist and function in a team environment
- Education: High school diploma and 6 years’ of On Job Training (OJT) experience in machining; OR completion of a two-year technical trade degree with 4 years’ experience in machining.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience setting up and operating Multi Axis CNC equipment (5+ Axis Machines preferred)- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- Set up and operation of 4 axis HMC
- Set up and operation of Vertical Turret Lathe
- Ability to safely move inside of and around CNC Machine Equipment. Utilize proper safety devices and machine lockouts during set up or maintenance when required.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Meet or exceed core competency expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance/punctuality, and teamwork.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
