PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Setup and run extrusion lines.
•Cut and dispose of scrap liner.
•Prep production spools for usage.
•Operate liner take-up spool.
•Maintain water cooling systems used throughout the extrusion line.
•Use precision measuring equipment to measure the product and adjust tooling as needed.
•Perform visual and manual inspections of liner and record results.
•Spool finished liner onto take-up spools.
•Monitor machine quality and communicate mechanical and electrical problems to the maintenance department.
•Practice good housekeeping by maintaining a clean work area.
•Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
•Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
•6 months minimum extrusion experience required.
•Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Must be able to communicate clearly & concisely (written and verbal)
•Detail-oriented and organized.
•Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
•Willing & Able to work in a factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
•Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, & Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily.
•Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily.
•Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
