Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Lube Tech to join our team. This role involves performing comprehensive maintenance and repair on all associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various maintenance operations, adhere to safety regulations, and ensure all equipment is functioning optimally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Maintenance:
•Grease Loaders at the beginning of each shift. Wash leaders as needed. Cleaning Cabs, lights, glass on cabs daily. Blowing out air filters daily. Checking and maintaining fluid levels at the beginning of each shift. Communicating with rental company and PM on all accepted, returned, and damaged rental and owned equipment daily.
Inspection & Reporting:
•Conduct inspections of equipment as per the company’s Prescribed Inspection Schedule.
•Complete and submit detailed equipment inspection reports.
Safety & Compliance:
•Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
•Conduct work in alignment with Federal and State mining laws, as well as Company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•3 years heavy equipment experience, sand and or aggregate plant experience a plus.
•Knowledge of the components of sand plants such as (conveyor belt repair, gear boxes, bearings, structural welding and repair, trunnions, baghouses, elevators, silos, loadout spouts, slurry and freshwater pumps, wet and dry sand screens.
•Technical skills required- Ability to do basic math and read a tape measure, safely rigging/ lifting heavy objects, problem solving, sheave and pulley alignment, conveyor belt tracking and alignment, no issues with heights, ability to work in hot and cold environments.
•Some heavy equipment operation (Skid Steer, Telehandler, Track hoe/ Backhoe)
•Must have current driver's license and clean MVR
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical school program in diesel mechanics is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
•Ability to lift heavy objects and equipment (up to 50 pounds).
•Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
•Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including indoors and outdoors.
