As a key member of the Operations Team, reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator ensures timely and efficient fuel deliveries to residential and commercial customers. This role involves proactively dispatching drivers, optimizing routes, managing orders, and maintaining accurate data to meet customer needs and prevent service disruptions.

What You’ll Do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, dispatching daily work and monitoring progress to ensure delivery fulfillment.
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with Field Management on day-to-day operations, scheduling, and performance standards; escalate safety or performance issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve routing or scheduling issues, activating contingency plans when necessary.
- Maintain and adjust delivery schedules as needed to increase efficiency and prevent out-of-gas occurrences.
- Ensure data integrity within the Cargas system and maintain accurate routing and scheduling records.
- Review, manage, and report on daily delivery transactions and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform additional duties as needed
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education or technical certification in operations/logistics preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of logistics and dispatch experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to build relationships, internally and externally, and lead through influence.
- Ability to analyze data, using KPIs to track and continuously improve performance.
- Experience with routing and scheduling technology preferred; Cargas experience is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of propane regulations, hazmat transportation, and DOT requirements considered an asset.
- Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
- Hours: M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm (EST)
- Work shifts can vary during winter months M-Sat 7:00am – 6:00pm to meet increased customer activities and needs.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed during the busy season, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Role is primarily remote with occasional site visits within the New England region.
