The Liquid Propane Driver plays a crucial role in the agricultural sector by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of liquid propane to various farms and agricultural facilities. This position is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of agricultural equipment that relies on propane as a fuel source. The driver will be responsible for adhering to all safety regulations and protocols while transporting propane, thereby minimizing risks associated with hazardous materials. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate delivery records and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Ultimately, the Liquid Propane Driver contributes significantly to the productivity and sustainability of agricultural operations in the region.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a hazardous materials endorsement.
- Proven experience in driving and operating large vehicles, preferably in a delivery capacity.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Experience in the agricultural industry or with propane delivery.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Customer service experience in a delivery or logistics role.
- Safely operate and drive a liquid propane delivery truck to various agricultural locations.
- Load and unload propane tanks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transactions and deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with deliveries.
