Propane Delivery Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and holds the necessary licenses for propane handling and vehicle operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a propane bobtail truck to deliver propane to customers on assigned routes.

- Accurately complete delivery tickets, meter readings, and customer paperwork.

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.

- Monitor tank levels and advise customers on safe propane use and maintenance.

- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED.

- Valid CDL (Class B or A) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CETP certification(s)

- Prior experience in propane delivery or service

- Knowledge of local, state, and federal propane safety regulations
