Propane Delivery Driver

Job Overview

Do you enjoy driving and working outdoors? Merwin Oil and Propane is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Propane Delivery Driver. In this role, you’ll deliver propane to residential customers while providing outstanding customer service. A CDL license is required, along with the ability to obtain additional endorsements (Tanker, Air Brakes, Hazardous Materials, etc.). No experience with propane delivery? No problem—we’re willing to train the right candidate!

This position is perfect for someone who is friendly, safety-focused, and enjoys connecting with people while working independently on the road.

Responsibilities

- Safely deliver propane to residential customers on assigned routes

- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers

- Operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations

- Complete delivery logs, reports, and other required documentation

- Assist with tank inspections and basic equipment checks

Requirements

- Valid CDL (with or ability to obtain Tanker, Air Brakes, and Hazmat endorsements)

- At least 1 year of driving experience

- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds

- Willingness to learn and complete training programs

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: ~40 hours per week (weekends and holidays off)

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (flexible start and end times available) Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience
