We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Licensed Utility Operator (WW2 and WS1), reporting to the Village Administrator. This person will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in maintenance work and will operate equipment in the construction, operation, repair, and maintenance of our village utility plants and system as Operator of Responsible Charge.

Additionally, the Village offers weekly pay, all full-time employees will be eligible for Life and AD&D insurance, up to 80 hours of vacation and 120 hours of sick time that rolls over year after year. 8 paid holidays and 3 floating holidays to use as employees see fit. This position will require regularly working outside in a variety of weather. Work conditions will include working near moving mechanical parts, frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations, and occasional work in high, precarious places. Additionally, there is occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Regular work schedule will be 7am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday and 2-hour plant checks every other weekend. If you’re interested in joining our team, we’d love to talk to you.
