Licensed HVAC Technician

The Licensed HVAC Technician will work under the leadership of the Maintenance Coordinator and will primarily focus on HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation of residential units, but assist in the maintenance of properties under the management of MiddleTown Property Group. The Licensed HVAC Technician must meet and maintain the requirements of the Employee Handbook.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Primarily HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installations.

- Able to Remove old HVAC systems and install new HVAC systems.

- Able to Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems.

- Communicate with clients and customers.

-Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment.

- Meet local HVAC codes.

Based on company needs, HVAC Technicians may assist with the other duties as outlined below.

-Complete Maintenance work orders.

-Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair of properties and grounds.

-Communicate with Maintenance Coordinator on completing or pending work orders.

-Troubleshoot reported maintenance issues reported by Tenants and Area Managers.

-Prepares Vacant rental units for occupancy.

-Snow Removal.

-Perform duties according to (OSHA) standards and company safety policies and procedures at all times.

-Work Hours between Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm. Work hours and days may change to meet business needs.

-Available for on-call and after-hour emergency maintenance requests.

-Seeks opportunities to increase skills and expand knowledge base.

MUST HAVE

-Reliable Transportation

-Smart Phone with Internet capabilities

-High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

-Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position preferred

-Maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and construction experience preferred

-Universal Certifications in HVAC required

Typical Physical Demands

-Ability to lift 20lbs

-Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

-Ability to use hand and arm for writing and/or typing
