Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Level II NDT Inspector to join our team. This position requires a strong understanding of quality inspection processes, basic mechanical knowledge, and the ability to analyze and record NDT inspection results. The Inspector will be responsible for leading inspection activities ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years working experience in applicable NDT methods (MT, PT, UTT) in the Oil & Gas Industry. Oilfield Downhole Tool experience- BHA, Drilling, and Completion Tools. Knowledge of Rigging and Rigging Components is a plus.
Education:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Previous NDT Level II Certification in applicable methods (MT, PT, UTT).
Duties:
•Operation of NDT inspection equipment in accordance with applicable procedures, work instructions, and record evaluation of NDT results.
•Conduct thorough quality inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
•Ensure all products comply with established codes and standards (specifically DS-1 Standards).
•Utilize hand tools for cleaning or repairs during the inspection process.
•Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for compliance.
Skills & Requirements:
•Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
•Maintains a good driving record.
•Proficient in inspection techniques and interputation.
•Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
•In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and industry standards.
•Mechanical knowledge to understand product assembly and functionality.
•Familiarity with hand tools.
•Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
•Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
