Leeville - Underground Surveyor

As an Underground Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting our underground mining operations by delivering precise and reliable survey data and mapping. You’ll work closely with multiple departments in a high-paced, safety-focused environment to help guide mining activities and ensure operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Experience:

Knowledge of basic surveying principles. Preferred* Understanding of underground mining methods, including cut-and-fill and narrow vein long-hole stoping. Preferred* Proficiency in 3D drafting and mine design software preferred (e.g., Deswik, Point Studio, Vulcan, etc.). Preferred* Strong math, analytical, and computer skills. Required* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Required* Valid driver’s license. Required* Must be capable of operating company vehicles both on surface and underground. Required* Physically able to walk on uneven terrain, manage steep grades, and meet other physical demands of underground mining. Required* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Required* Commitment to upholding and promoting a safety-first culture in all aspects of work. Required* Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment. Required*
