Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets industry standards. Responsibilities

•

Interpret and read drawings to determine project specifications

•

Perform various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to fabricate sheet metal parts and/or structural weldments

•

Build and assemble metal structures according to design specifications

•

Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards throughout the fabrication process

•

Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and durability

•

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols

•

Along with the Shop Manager, lead our team of welders by communicating project schedule and instructing/helping them with fabrication procedures as needed.

Skills

•

Proficient in welding techniques with a focus on MIG and TIG welding

•

The ability to weld stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum materials including: sheet metal, plate, structural, etc.

•

Seasoned experience with metal fabrication shops and equipment

•

Understanding of industry standards related to welding and fabrication

•

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

•

Strong leadership history and the ability to effectively communicate, instruct and teach processes as needed with newer welders

Hours are Monday - Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm. Overtime is optional when available.
