About Us:

Valley Steel Recycling is committed to improving operational efficiency and expanding our capabilities through innovative fabrication and installation projects. We are looking for a skilled welder to join our team on a short-term basis to help us build and install new machines and structures that will drive our next phase of growth.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Welder for a 3–6 month contract. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal structures and components, working closely with our engineering and operations team. Your work will directly support the installation of new machinery and the construction of custom structures to improve our efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to blueprints, specifications, and instructions.

•

Install and set up machinery and equipment purchased for operational improvements.

•

Weld, cut, and shape materials using appropriate tools and techniques (MIG, TIG, stick welding, etc.).

•

Inspect and ensure welds and fabrications meet quality and safety standards.

•

Collaborate with supervisors and project managers to meet deadlines and project goals.

•

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

•

Proven experience as a welder in fabrication and installation work.

•

Proficiency with various welding methods (MIG, TIG, stick).

•

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

•

Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to follow all company safety protocols.

•

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Contract (3–6 months)

Pay: $13 – $15 per hour (based on experience)
