About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Lead, Environment, the Lead, Water Management is responsible for leading the development of the Water Management Plan and Water Balance while ensuring alignment with our Operations, Regional Water Quality Modelling, and Water Governance Framework. This role is also responsible for driving activities related to surface water, groundwater, and operational water management.

To be successful, we are looking for someone who has strong leadership and mentoring skills. This person can make recommendations and lead change at a large mining operation through long-term strategic direction. Strong influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the high levels of innovation, motivation, integrity and dedication are vital for success.
