How you’ll help:
•Lead utility coordination and engagement across 8 participating utilities in NYS.
+ Facilitate discussions on data requirements, transfer formats, and interoperability across multiple utility providers.
+ Manage a team of subject matter experts specializing in customer, system, environmental justice, and tariff data domains (and potentially others in the future).
+ Oversee communication on data quality issues, ensuring efficient remediation between the E Source data engineering team and utility representatives.
+ Align industry best practices with evolving regulatory requirements.
•Advise on regulatory data strategy.
+ Provide expert guidance to Department of Public Service members of the IEDR Steering Committee on program issues resulting from Public Service Commission orders that impact or enable IEDR’s mission.
+ Ensure utility data practices follow regulatory frameworks while enhancing transparency on status and positions utilities take on data requests.
•Support the E Source Data Engineering team.
+ Offer domain expertise to assist with data validation, quality assurance, and optimization of business logic associated with utility datasets.
+ Collaborate on the development and refinement of data dictionaries and transfer protocols, ensuring standardization across participating utilities.
+ Drive the creation and adoption of common data models for seamless utility data exchange and integration.

The budgeted salary for this position is:
•$150,000–$180,000 USD + annual bonus.
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
This role will be 100% remote, with infrequent travel (generally 1–2 times per year).
