Position: Lead Electrician & Crew Leader (Residential Solar) Location: Texas (or applicable state) Compensation: Price Per Watt (PPW) Job Type: W2 - Full Time

Role Overview

As a Lead Electrician & Crew Leader, you are both the licensed electrical authority and the on-site captain of your crew.

You will run the project with full accountability — managing installations, leading your team, verifying quality, ensuring safety, and delivering successful project completions.

You are the tip of the spear for The 300.

Responsibilities

•

✅ Install residential solar systems (mounting, wiring, system connections)

•

✅ Perform main panel upgrades and system tie-ins

•

✅ Run, manage, and terminate electrical circuits safely and efficiently

•

✅ Interpret and execute electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics

•

✅ Ensure all installations meet NEC and local code compliance

•

✅ Lead your crew to meet daily production goals

•

✅ Coordinate material needs and job site logistics

✅ Train and mentor apprentices and new team members✅ Perform quality control checks throughout and at completion

•

✅ Complete final job site cleanup and photo documentation

•

✅ Maintain and enforce strict safety protocols

•

✅ Communicate with Elite Energy and Spartan X daily on progress

Qualifications

•

Active Maryland or Required State Electrical License (Journeyman or higher, minimum 3 years experience)

•

Proven leadership in residential solar installations

•

Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar integration

•

Experience in running crews and managing job sites

•

Safety-first mindset and attention to detail

•

Excellent communication and organizational skills

•

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and outdoors

•

Reliable transportation to and from job sites

•

Strong respect for craftsmanship and team unity

Required Tools & Equipment

To succeed in this role, you are expected to arrive job-ready with the following: ALL SAFETY GEAR IS PROVIDED. Basic Electrician Hand Tools (pliers, strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)

•

Impact driver / Drill set (charged and job-ready)

•

Multimeter / voltage tester

•

Harness and personal fall protection (PPE) -

•

Gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, and work boots

•

Tool belts / pouches for rooftop efficiency

•

Smartphone with camera for site photos and reporting

•

Ave (for document uploads and project communications)

Note: Specialty tools and heavy equipment will be provided on site or reimbursed as agreed.
