TheLead Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for overseeing all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role leads a team of two to four and plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory flow and efficient logistics operations. Apply now to join a growing logistics team and help

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm | Some Saturdays required
- Responsible for all incoming shipments – Secure documents /Damage awareness/ direct move
- to receiving storage based on upcoming need
- Handle all outgoing shipments – Secure documents / Load properly to avoid damages/ follow
- QC specifics, tarping, crating, and transportation set up. Picture documentation
- Day to Day operations of company driver to and from Belle Chasse (handling incoming and
- outgoing shipment protocol applies here as well)
- Primary forklift operator for departments, and other departments that do not have a certified
- operator. This includes contractors and vendors.
- Leadership and direct supervisor for two Ship/Rec clerks and company driver.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of material handling experience
- Experience withIFS(Industrial and Financial Systems) software
- Scheduling experience
- Forklift certified
- Intermediate computer skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Primary work is in an office setting, but frequent visits to the production floor are required to oversee operations, ensure safety compliance, and engage with staff.
- Mobility: Able to walk, stand, and climb stairs throughout the manufacturing plant.
- Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle tools, equipment, or materials.
- Lifting: Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, following OSHA guidelines.
- Vision & Hearing: Must see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively.
- PPE: Able to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots.
