Position Specific Description NextCollect seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead comprehensive greenfield topography data collection initiatives supporting renewable energy development across multiple states. This role manages end-to-end LiDAR and geospatial data acquisition projects from initial customer scoping through final deliverable acceptance, coordinating with internal development teams to define accuracy specifications and coverage requirements while sourcing and managing qualified data collection vendors through Supply Chain processes. The position requires overseeing vendor mobilization, regulatory compliance, and airspace coordination, followed by rigorous data quality verification including calibration review, completeness checks, and accuracy validation before delivering processed topographic products (DTMs, contours, analysis reports) to internal customer teams. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of geospatial project management experience, strong vendor coordination skills, and technical proficiency in LiDAR technology and data quality assessment, supporting NextEra's mission of data-driven renewable energy development through centralized topography data management and operational excellence.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Oversees a variety of large-scale projects of high complexity

- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports

- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes

- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis

- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions

- Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues

- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders

- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project

- Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 6+ years

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's Degree

- Project Management Professional (PMP)
